Future of Bandipur

Just a record shot.Few minutes ride into the park we reached this waterbody and we all saw 3 tigers by the water hole.They went inside the bush as soon as they noticed us.I hope you all like this image.

KING OF BANDIPUR

The experience goes like this, May 20th Morning myself and my friend been to Bandipur and on this safari ride we have been asked to board two diffrent vehicles.The vehicle in which i was sitting had two kids , two ladies and one gentlemen who were least bothered about Wildlife and Photography.I told my Naturalist lets first check one of my favourite waterhole and then you take me whereever you want me to take.He was patient enough to listen and we went there.From the far away and between the gaps of the woods we could see some stripes and finally it turned to be the king of Bandipur who was cooling off in the waterhole.Spent decent time with him and made this image.I hope you all enjoy this small writeup and my image.

Made this image under low light, We were actually suppose to enter the forest at 4:00 Pm, but due to some problem we were allowed to go inside the park at 5:10 Pm.But the forest showed us its beauty.I hope you all like this image.

This is the day the forest decided to show its beauty to me.This was the first adult tiger sighting in my entire life after  excessive number of safaris into wild.Before this sighting i was always wanted to see tiger in wild and capture it in my frame and i was blessed.

January 18 2012: On a clear winter evening, I had the privilege to capture this awe-inspiring female tiger, Gowri , also known as the Queen of Bandipur. She successfully raised 2 litters and presently is a mother to 4 healthy  cubs.
